Research engineer Mike, arrives in Pullman, WA, at the residence of my sister in the class, Dr. Wei Wei! Approximately one hour later, we find ourselves in Spokane, WA!!!!
After arriving in Spokane, we took to the skyways which connect most of the major buildings downtown. This network of walkways provides access to a plethora of shops.
After walking the skyways we decided to partake in a Traditional Chinese Feast! I can be seen to the right, enjoying one of my favorite dishes...
Dr. Wei and Research Scientist Mike, find the cuisine at this estabilishment was NOT SA BAD... JUST BAD ENOUGH!!!!
We arrived with the intention of consuming a mass quantity of Chinese comestibles after our shopping excursion downtown with an interim stop at an Irish Pub! In the above picture, Wei Wei discusses the finer points of the menu items.
(left)We see that Self-Criticality Expert Mike really enjoying himself at this renowned commercial establishment. (center) That is, until he had an accident; In his confusion, Research engineer Mike was just unable to locate the restrooms in time... (right) Fusion energy / computational physics scientist Mike experiences a reduction in his enthusiasm as he contemplates the affects of reliable power transmission utilizing the sandpile model while considering the moisture around his lower torso.
Time to remunerate for this wondrous banquet. There is nothing comparable to the gratification one receives when one pays a bill with one dollar denominations!!!!
Basilio's is an Italian restaurant located in the scenic city of Moscow, ID. It was an excellent choose due to it's vicinity to the famed Garden Lounge!
After our Chinese extravaganza, we proceeded to the primary Mall in Spokane were we acquired a number of consumables. From there, we picked up my brother in the class and officemate, Dudley at the Spokane Airport (Delta - Flight 1150) Once all of the members of this campaign were assembled, we then proceeded to Moscow, ID. Thereupon, my brothers, sister, and I, participated in whimsical dialogue while experiencing Italian cuisine. (above)
Here is the group once again with our congenial waitress. Upon the request of various personalities, with the flash disabled, and the camera placed indiscriminately on the table, the second picture was acquired. At the time of acquisition, she did make a comment to the effect, "I heard that..." I really don't think she had any idea(r) of the angle of orientation of the camera... Most excellent! (Note: This photo have been significantly enhanced by research computer engineer Mike!)
But why just stop with one waitress???? (Note: Jennie was given our office number for Webster 332.)

Miss Wei requested Sex On The Beach (she instead receives the drink which goes by the same name!), Graduate Student Mr. Nuke, sports a Blue Hawaiian (What is the climate like at the University of Hawaii? ;), Dudley, a purist (antagonist of the "Girly Drink") obtains top shelf whiskey on the rocks, and brother in the lab, researcher Mike obtained a... (well, he just needs another!!!)
Second Floor of the Garden Lounge: This establishment sports a second floor which observes the two primary bars. Well, see you there for the Blue Monday Party Fesitivies!!!!
