BTW: That's Amy in the first picture. When combined with Patrick, they only occupy 1.5 persons worth of space. We didn't get to observe this phenomenon since Mike required them to sleep in separate rooms at his condo; "Not while under my roof", Mike comments.
Off to Spokane, WA... The road trip took us through Nothing Absolute! Upon our arrival, we proceeded directly to the Ram Brewery.
(Patrick is informed that the National Lentil Festival occurs in August.)
Our trip was spawned from conversations on fundamental research... After leaving the Vu, Amy gave her impressions on the experience, "It was like watching a soccer game... I just wanted to get in there and play." Most excellent!!! Check out Mike's T-shirt!!!
Day two involved the Droogs' (excellent picture above - check out Mike's condo in the background!) preparation
for the Erulf celebration. Past Erulf extravaganzas include: DOE Picnic and Damn Jam.
"What about this ale???" We just couldn't decide on which "pacific" amber we wanted... Our final selection!

"The Beer Snobs"... The second exposure shows that Mike still hasn't learned that you shouldn't mix
alcoholic beverages. (Past Experience In TN) Acourse, we were drinking Lynchburgs at this fine event.
The discussion became quite heated when they began reviewing the methods for randomization
of amino acids... The Face Off Begins!!! This left everyone very famished!!! SNACKS!!
The clerks became irrate with our excessive ball playing though the store!
That combined with Patrick's necessity to taste test each wine.
