Physics Picnic At The Snake
Next on the agenda of the Graduate Elite was a trip to the Snake River for the Physics Year End Picnic. Here we have the Undergraduate Laboratory Director ("The Brains Behind This Operation") working the grill. Observe the ordered arrangement of hamburgers and dogs, most excellent!

The ceremonious lighting of the grill is overseen by Fusion Energy Expert, Mike. (Note: Paul is an expert in Plasma Physics!!!) As the temperature drops below the safe levels for an orange orchard, Xavier makes his way indoors! Paul examines the various coffee brewing apparatus... "yes, the red light is on" (Note: Paul is skilled in the use of high tech lasing systems.) Erin takes time from her studies of Ultra Fast Dynamics to hang out at the BBQ. Erin is an expert in the vibrational modes of quasi-one dimensional metal halide complex chains.
