Our trek began on Route 8 from Moscow, ID to Elk River (total 54 miles). Elk River is within the Clearwater National Forest.
From Elk River we proceeded into Clearwater along a treacherous 60 mile gravel road
(that had not one guard rail along its entire extent!) The second exposure details the Dworshak Reservoir.
