ROLLER COASTERS

DORNEY
HERCULES STEEL FORCE
(The Hercules claims another victim)
("Just one more time... on Steel Force")

  • Date: September 7, 1997
On my last excursion to Dorney Park , my intention was to experience the excitement of STEEL FORCE. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the park Steel Force was temporarily closed. Yet, waiting for my FOURTH consecutive run on the Hercules, I noticed that they began operating Steel Force.

After Lunch, I was making my way back into the park, ready to encounter the FORCE when a massive horn sounded for almost a minute in the direction of Steel Force. To my surprise, one of the trains was positioned motionless on the first hill on Steel Force. In any event, they never did reopen the ride!

  • Date: July 1, 1998
My experiences of STEEL FORCE were unbelieveable, to the point that SEVEN consecutive runs couldn't quench my thirst for more... Unlike the Hercules, which ends upon the completion of the first hill, STEEL FORCE excites its passengers throughtout.
